A case of low pathogenic avian influenza H5 has also been confirmed in a large commercial poultry premises near Mundford, Breckland, Norfolk.

An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory biosecurity measures is in force across Great Britain. An AIPZ with mandatory housing measures is also in force in England and Wales.
All bird keepers should remain vigilant and follow stringent biosecurity measures as detailed on GOV.SCOT and GOV.UK and follow the housing measures/Protection/Surveillance or Restricted Zone restrictions in their area that apply to prevent future outbreaks.
